Mr. Delmar K. Gundy, age 84, passed away peacefully in his sleep Monday, January 30, 2012 at his home. He was born May 14, 1927 in Muskegon to Jefferson and Hester (Lamons) Gundy. He married the former Julie J. Madasy in Muskegon Read Obituary

As Jeff and I were leaving the funeral services today, It was easy to see what a positive impact your father/grandfather made on your family. Your tribute to him was beautiful and memorable. Our most sincere sympathy is extended to all of you for the tremendous loss and emptiness you must feel in your hearts.

Once you walked into the Gundy house, you were an honorary member of their family. I will always remember your dad's wonderful smile - even when we should have been getting yelled at. Well I don't have a memory of this man as I never met him before, but if he was half the person my Aunt Heidi is I'm sure he will be very missed and by the messages I'm sure he was a great man. Sorry for your loss Aunt Heidi. Prayers are with your family. The Platte's, Jeff, Heather, Clayton, Alyssa, and Brayden.
