It was always so nice to see Barney's smiling face and get a warm hug and a kiss whenever we met. It didn't matter if it was months or years between our meetings, I was always happy to see him. I'll miss him at the family reunions, but I know someday we will meet again.
God Bless Barney and his family!
Dear Doris & Family
So sorry for your loss, I will miss my talks with Barney in the yard and all the helpful hints he gave me over the years. My thoughts and prayers are wiyh you. I'm just across the road if I can do anything for you.

While I didn't know Barney well, I remember him with great kindness. I first met him in the early 70's as an new employee of the DNR and attending my first Wildlife Div. Training School. He welcomed all of us "newbies" with his friendly demeanor. My sincerest condolences to the entire family and his close friends.

Dear Mary June and JoAnn--I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved Dad. May God comfort you and give you peace in your hearts.
I was saddened to read of Barney's death. I first knew him when I was a child living in Unionville. Later we worked together with some Sichuan pheasants and trapping ruffed grouse to trade for turkeys. After he retired, I attended a District MUCC meeting at the Gun Club in Ravenna and saw him there. I always enjoyed talking with and working with Barney.
Sorry for your loss. Some of the time that I spent growing up at your home with Mary June was some of the best time I can recall Again my prayer are with you.
Doris and Family,
We are so sorry to hear about the loss of your husband. Our thoughts and sympathies are with you and your family. My parents (Max & Marty Bott) left on Sat. for Gulf Shores, AL and did not hear about this until today. I know they would have wanted to be here for the funeral. My Dad has many memories of good times with Barney and your family.
I was deeply saddened to hear of Barney's passing and very sorry I was unable to attend the services to celebrate his life. I truely enjoyed working with him at the Muskegon State Game area. He was rightfully proud of his accomplishments there and was entitled to equal pride for his service to the Ravenna Sportsmens Club and to his service to the community as a whole. His physical presence will be missed be he will remain a part of all of us until we someday meet again.
Dear Doris, Mary June and Joann,
>I am sorry to hear of your loss. He sure was a great man, always so nice and so much fun to be around. I have many fond memories of your dear family.
Love and prayers,
Mary
