I emailed him once and found out his Father & my Grandfather were brothers. I just saw his grave yesterday and made me think about it again. Jason Wolters Zeeland Mi. wolt1948@yahoo.com. I would like to know where his Father Henry was born. I don’t know much about our Wolters history.

It was my privilege to work with Dr. Wolters at NOCH. He was a great friend and colleague. He was a very good listener and offered me sound advice. I am disturbed by the passing of this gentle soul. Ellen, you were so kind to me and my family when my dad passed away. I remember well that you volunteered to help at his funeral reception. All these memories will not be forgotten. I had the privilege to work with Dr. Wolters at NOCH for only 5 years. In Medical Transcription we had the opportunity each day to deliver reports to his office. He was indeed a concerned doctor who cared for the people represented by the reports. He delighted in the few breaks to discuss pictures in his office, what woodworking project he was currently working on, and the fact that we enjoyed the same candy, Goetze's Caramel Creams. I looked forward to his warm smile and hello. What a wonderful person he was to know.

Your dad reached out to me after my dad, his very good friend, died 5 years ago, to the day. It was such a comforting moment to share with him. What a gentle kind man. I also spent time reading imaging studies with him for a couple of days when I was doing my nurse practitioner clinical hours. I learned so much from him those couple of days. I can still hear things he told me when I look at some of those studies for myself now.

I really enjoyed working with him. He was so kind and giving. Always thought of how we were doing as a person. Prayers to the friends and family.
