Jenny and I were in 3rd grade when we met. Mom and Carol were best friends. I have so many memories, all of them good, many of them make me laugh. Carol's boisterous laugh was always contagious. Can't wait to see her again in our Father's presence!
Carol was more than a piano player, more than a French Horn friend, more than a classmate. She was wise and witty, warm and wonderful. I remember in Home Ec when I was sewing simple slacks and tunics that she was involved in a project to make a blue wool winter coat. Such drive with excellence! It’s how she lived…
We thank God for knowing her, her love for you Mike, your girls, and especially our Lord Jesus Christ. We lift you in prayer for the days ahead.
Carol was the first homeschool Mom who would sit down with me almost 3 decades ago to answer my many questions. I was so thankful for her generosity and Godly viewpoint on everything. She will be greatly missed until we get to Heaven and hug on her again. Prayers for the Alman family in the time of waiting.

Kind, warm, giving... that’s who she was. She also had a lovely singing voice and heaven’s choir is only stronger now. Continuing in prayer for the family she left here.
It was her beautiful smile that I will remember the most. You felt her love when she even looked at you. My grandchildren loved coming to see "The Goat and Chicken Lady". She always made time for people! I will be praying for Mike, Jenny, Emily, and Moll, and whole family,
So happy that we got to have Carol in our lives. My mom thought the world of her and we got to have goat milk ice cream because of her.
I am sorry to hear of Carol’s passing and extend my sympathy to Mike and your girls. It was such a joy to work with Carol at Marushka, she always had this dry sense of humor, but was a fast and accurate worker. I feel better for having known her and her family.
