My Mama Maxine Schaefer Helman was best friends from childhood til my mom passed away in 2015. They always stayed in touch . After my Mom moved to Ca. Sometimes 10 years or more would pass between visits, but it didn't matter. They would giggle and laugh like teenagers. They showed me what real friendship is. When I think of them I see them sitting by the side of lake Michigan in their bathing suits. My favorite picture Mom had of them. We are blessed to have had Mothers like them.
I met your mother once in south Florida. For a week, we were in the same place. I knew Michael & his daughter for over 30 years, and was surprised to learn she was his mother! Sincere Condolences to your family.

I always loved visiting with her when I would see her at Alan and Jenn's house. Always happy and dressed so nice, Her and Emma were best friends always playing. She will be missed!!!
Our family was so blessed to have Doris in our lives these past years. She and our Dad were such wonderful companions for each other. They enjoyed traveling, winters in Florida, eating out, going for rides, movies, their exercise classes, and all the time they spent together. Thanks to her family for sharing Doris with us.
