I am so very thankful to have had the opportunity to know Elaine. I got to know her over the last several years in the Monday morning knitting group. It just won't be the same without her there. She loved to help others with their knitting and she never seemed to tire of hearing the same questions. After "fixing" many a mistake, she'd teach you how to help yourself the next time. Her hands have touched many skeins of yarn that wound up giving other people joy and comfort. I'd like to think God knows her talents well and that she is in a room now with shelves of beautiful yarn, that await her creations.

I loved singing in the choir where I sat in front of Elaine. She would come up with some of the funniest comments, muttered softly to us altos/tenors, that would make me laugh so many times. She made practices so fun. And everyone always went to Elaine when they needed to know what liturgical colors to wear, or community history. She really is an angel now. God bless Elaine.
