Memories, so many, where to start. As a youngster and being curious I remember going through Grandpa and Grandma's attic. My, what treasures through all those boxes. I found a box of coins, several Indian head pennies. I showed Grandpa what I discovered, he graciously gave me a couple of those old pennies. He was always patient, never yelling and so kind. Being the oldest grandchild I think I was held in high regards to Grandpa and Grandma, maybe spoiled abit. He and Grandma would always visit our large family of 11 during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. There visit was always a highlight and made the holiday season extra special. He loved baseball, during the summer he watched his beloved Chicago Cubs, he adopted the Detriot Tigers as his second team. A true diehard baseball fan. My children meant Grandpa and Grandma, what a treat for my kids be able to interact with there Great Grandparents. We miss you Grandpa, and we will meant again!
