Hazel was a sweet lady. Whenever i could, I would bring in her trash cans on Wednesday mornings. If she was home she would always come to the door to say thank you. She also enjoyed the strawberry and blueberry jams we gave her at Christmas
Hazel was such an endearing, brilliant, beautiful woman. I only knew her through our church, First Presbyterian Grand Haven. She was always so positive, it was a joy to see
her bright smile each Sunday from the choir loft. What an incredible life she lived. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

We're so sorry for your loss. Hazel was such a sweet neighbor. She always had a smile on her face. We have only known her for a few years. Any time I'd see her, she would be outside mowing or picking up sticks. We offered to help her many times but she refused every time. But she would always take time to talk.
Hazel will be missed dearly.

I have found memories of Hazel and will miss her. May the Kragt and Thornsen families know the Presence of God in special ways during their loss.
It was my pleasure to have known and met both Reverend and Hazel Kragt when I was a kid. They were called and dedicated their entire life to serve the God of Glory, faithful to the end of their life on earth expressing and serving with the love of Christ. Many lives were touched, many souls were saved from perdition, many hearts were turned and given to Jesus. Though I don’t know them as well as my sister Esther Ting Dy, my brother in law Ping Sing, my nephew Sammy Dy, his wife Esther and other countless Christians that they’ve cared for and taught the word of God. The Kragt were a sweet living testimony to all on what it’s is to live unto Christ.
May this be a pattern to all of us to live Christ, having Christ as our life and living.
My parents of 92 & 88 years old and my family were blessed by the Kragts on their mission to Naga City & Manila in the 60s & 70s. During her visit in 2014, we revisited the church & school Mrs. Kragt served in Naga City. We will all miss her. - The DY’s Family send our condolences to her children.
