I will certainly miss Helen at our meal service. She always brightened up the room. I take solace in the fact she is with our Lord now

Helena, your mother was truly one of a kind. I can clearly see where you get your kind heart from. You are in my thoughts and prayers. ♡

Carry Me, Lord!
How does one prepare to breathe their last?
To leave this earth after years of seeking
God's will to define their life.
It's so hard to say good-by to loved ones upon this earth,
To hold their hand and feel a tender kiss,
And then to take that journey suddenly from here to there ....
Beyond the Crystal Sea.
Heaven awaits as angels sing,
Rejoicing to receive a Father's son now coming home,
Renewed in body, soul, and mind,
Made completely Whole!
The pearly gates have opened wide, and streets of gold
beckon one right to the feet of Jesus,
God's First Son who gave His all
to bring His chosen children home.
Then God turns to those who stay behind on earth,
He pours a healing balm of love divine,
To comfort those who weep and strengthens
them to rise and serve again as God defines.
Carry me Home LORD!
Helen Harrold
Helen wrote this several years ago to a believer who had lost their spouse.
I believe this is now a fitting poem for her own Home Going.

I am so sorry to hear of Helen's sudden death. Any death is a huge loss and difficulty but I imagine the shock and numbness is greater in this situation. What a comfort to know she is with Christ! Russ and I appreciated her time at Forest Park and seeing the photo you posted brings back memories of her joyful enthusiasm. May God carry you Jack, Helena and family as you journey on. I am sorry I cannot attend the service as I will be out of state.- Laurie
We were so sorry to hear of Helen’s passing. We will continue to pray for your family during this grieving time. We both knew her from church, but I knew her better as shared Weds. morning Women’s Bible Studies with her and talked to her quite a bit. I am several yrs. Older than she was tho, and am not well either, so am not sure that I can make it to the funeral. I am so sorry.
