David Massey
One of my best friends ever. He once tackled a guy who had assaulted me in my defense. Jim loved to watch sports, grill, and drink beer while hanging out with his buddies. He enjoyed hiking, biking, and lifting weights and walking his dog by the lake. He has a huge album, cassette and CD collection. In his 20's and 30's he loved to hang out at the pool on the weekends to work on his tan during the years he lived in Houston. He saw the Rolling Stones up close on the floor of the Houston Astrodome in 1986 and nearly got trampled to death. We were in danger and for a few moments frightened. Jim vacationed in San Antonio every year for the past 25 years to visit me and his TX friends. He had a buddy in Clearwater, Fla. that he would visit during February, unfortunately Jeff passed two years ago. He was married once in his early 20's and had a several girlfriends afterwards, but never had children. He cared a great deal for his mother and was committed to her well being for 20 years after his fathers death. He was a loyal friend, who is missed and will always be remembered .
