You’ve been on my mind today, Jeff, remembering all our great times at work and us dealing with the continuous changes we faced there, my friend. You left us way too soon, hope Karen and the rest of the family are doing a bit better in their loss of you almost 3 years.

It must’ve been in the 2014-2015 timeframe, when I came to L3 CPS on a contract assignment. I showed up there to support the Procurement/Subcontracting function , focusing on a supplier named Octal.
It wasn’t long before my workday was consumed by engaging with Jeanette, you, Reif, Mock and Allison -and getting used to dipping my toe into the water I really wasn’t familiar with. You took extra time to spin me up on parts of the job that were a little outside the procurement function, and that helped me so very much.
I would be in early, like you. You were such a great conversationalist, spending significant amounts of time trying to make me feel at home, knowing that my family was in the Boston area. You were very compassionate, underneath that tough-as-nails veneer that you loved to advertise :-) .
Thanks for everything, Jeff. Rest easy now. I’ll always remember you and how considerate you were of my situation as a long distance commuter, away from my family.
