What a privilege to know Dale Whitman. His stories and smile were a blessing to so many at Spring Lake Wesleyan. I am very thankful for the time I was able to spend with him these last several weeks. What a blessing it was for me to know your parents. I still remember youth group at your home growing up in Spring Lake. I always felt at home with them. Now they are both truly home. When our Father calls us home I know they will be there to greet us and make us feel at home once again. You were blessed to have them for your earthly parents. I'll be keeping you and your family in prayer this week.

One thing I definitely got from my grandpa was a great sense of humor. I will miss the jokes, stories, and of course the magic tricks. (I still don't know how he got the pencil through the card without making a hole)
