Nancy Stevens' Obituary
Nancy Stevens, age 78, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2015. She was born on June 30, 1937 to Allen and Ardis (Frost) McCall. Nancy had worked as a bus driver for the Ravenna school system before she started working for the American Red Cross as a case worker. On June 30, 1956 she married Jack Stevens who preceded her in death in 2011. She was a faithful and active member of Sullivan Community Church and volunteered with 4H for over 25 years. She enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking and sewing. Nancy is survived by her children, Jack (Lisa) Stevens, Jr., Mark (Lori) Stevens, James (Sherry) Stevens; 15 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; brother, John McCall; sisters, Sandra McCall, Darlene (Clarence) Rouse, Mary Jane (Merideth) Weltmer, Karen McCall, Sharon (Lee) Garris. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; daughter, Cindy (Lyle) Tyler; and sister, Carol. A MEMORIAL SERVICE for Nancy will be held at Sullivan Community Church (3951 Barnes Rd, Ravenna, MI 49451) on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 11:00 am with visitation with the family an hour prior. Burial will take place in Sullivan Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family asks you to look to Sullivan Community Church for a memorial contribution in Nancy’s name.
