Mr. Robert Glenn “Bob” Hubbell died suddenly Friday, August 3, 2007 in Spring Lake at the age of 52. He was born in Ludington, Michigan on April 28, 1955 and moved with his parents to Muskegon in 1956. He graduated from Whitehall Read Obituary
Both mom and I were sorry to see about the passing of Bob. We both only knew Bobby as a young boy, but from what we read in the paper, he sounds like he was a fine young man. Mary Lou you and Chuck, both of you, did a great job in raising a fine young man. We were sorry that neither of us were able to attend the Memorial service, it would have been to see every one again.

It's been over 30 yrs since I last seen Bob, but I have alot of fond memories. We spent alot of time laughing together with our church youth group and on the church ball team. In the last few years I have thought about those years and all the friends I spent time with then. I would run into Chuck every once in awhile and would always ask how Bob was doing. I had the honor of being in school with Bob grade 4 through grade 12 and graduation.We spent many years hanging out and sometimes getting into a few pickels but Bob always was the guy to stay strong and level headed.I spent many hours at his parents house and got to know them and his siblings.As the years went by it was apparent that his family was the reason he turned out to be the man he was.One more thing.Bobs dad Chuck was involved in Boy Scouts with us and i remember the many great hours we spent having fun,and of course the famous towel snap his dad did OUCH how can you forget those days.Even though we grew apart you were still a part of my life.To the family i know you will stay strong and endure.

I worked with Bob for several years at Eagle Ottawa. While he was typically a very quiet individual at work until you got to know him, he and I had some great heart-to-heart chats about our futures when the plant was preparing to close. I only had the pleasure of working for and laughing with Bob for a little over 2 years at Eagle Ottawa. Bobs strength & compassion made you want to be a better person in all that you did.
