I have been out of town and just saw the obituary for Rudy and am sorry I was not able to pay my respects in person. During my 12 years at WKBZ, most of which spent as a reporter, I got to know Rudy and found him to be a genuine and helpful person. He was a law enforcement officer in the true sense of the words. He relied on the intent as well as the letter of the law and earned my respect.
I am very sorry to hear of his passing.##imported-begin##Jon Graska (WKBZ)##imported-end##

Rudy was such a wonderful man and a good friend to our family. He will be sadly missed by us. I know how you are grieving for your Dad and how much he thought the world of his children and grand children. He is one of the special people that we are grateful to have in our lives and who feel honored to call him friend.
My deepest Sympathy to the family

We are so sorry to hear of the death of Rudy. We want you to know we share your grieve and we are praying the comfort of the Lord will be with you at this time.
I had the pleasure of talking to him on the phone while we were attending the 55th reunion of the 1950 class. It was a good time of remembering our days on Jackson Hill and beyond. I was born in the house Rudy lived in across from Froebel. So, you see, we go way back to kindergarten.
Elmer and Jean Boeve who are in Florida at this time send their condolences to your family as well. They had the fish market/sports store on Ottawa St. Jim Neal##imported-begin##Jim and Lillian Neal##imported-end##

Dear Juergens Family,
We would like to express our sorrow in the passing of Rudy. It was our pleasure to care for him in the last few hours of his earthly life. We hope in some small way we were able to make a difference. We enjoyed meeting his wondeful family.
