Jerry, Carol and family, I am so sorry to hear of Sarah's passing. My deepest condolences to you all. Much love, Michele McCormick
Sarah had such intelligence, integrity and heart. She was my friend at Northwestern and certainly one of the best of us there. Her grades were impeccable, because of her passion and dedication to knowledge and truth. She was fun, and kind, and very self-sufficient. I know she was lonely and frustrated in these last months, but she wore her circumstances with grace and humility. Those of us who cared to see her were overwhelmed by her goodness. She is truly missed!
Carol and Jerry, my sympathy goes out to you at this difficult time. Although it’s been years since we have seen one another, I remember Sarah, Chris, and Elizabeth when they were little. Praying God will bring you peace and healing in the days to come.

" Jerry and Carol , I extend to you my most heartfelt condolences. May the Lord keep you close and comfort you ... Bruce Mihalovits
Sarah was such a sweet gal. We had a few classes together in high school, but not very many. She was so smart, though, and was always ready to give me a smile. Every time we saw each other, she would ask how I was doing. I knew she generally cared about how I was feeling. Sarah will be missed greatly. Our prayers go out to her family.

Dear Jerry, Chris and family: I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers go out to you and all your loved ones.
I’ve known Sarah since our early days at St. Francis. What I remember most about her is her gift for writing and her courage. She was the perfect speaker for our high school graduation. I remember she spoke about the injustice of the morning news being taken from us, and we all cheered. She had the heart of a poet and the spirit of an advocate. May perpetual light shine upon her. My condolences to the family. Julie Christensen Spahn
