So many memories since the group of friends from high school got together with kids for picnics and fun. Parties at each other's homes or dinners out. Shopping when she knew what day some stores got a new shipment The trip to Hawaii and the time we visited in Arizona where she was such a great hostess, planning activities that suited each of us. And your timing to come back to Michigan to be near family and friends .We will continue to to be there for you and your family to share memories.

So sorry to hear about Susan’s passing. Please know that you are in our thought and prayers. God bless.

When I moved to Norton Shores after graduate school, Susan was one of my first colleagues ....and first friends. She helped countless people through her role as a subsatnce abuse therapist. I truly appreciate how she welcomed me into your family and helped me feel at home in Muskegon. I remember a lot of laughter and fun, whether swimming in your pool, shopping for a sofa in Grand Rapids or for bargains on the Liz Claiborne clearance racks, splurging on Baskin Robbins ice cream, or clearing the property for your home built near Lake Michigan. When she began her next career as a massage therapist, I so enjoyed those monthly soul-nourishing massages. She loved her Mexican adventures and filled her life with color, so whenever I see pink and orange (her signature wardrobe colors), I will think of Susan!. I know she loved her family with all her heart, and I am grateful she was able to come back home to Michigan these final months. My sympathy to all of you ... and special kudos to Amy for all you have done to assist your parents.
