Russell was a good friend of mine (Ron) for almost all of my life (from about age of about 10). Although we lived many miles apart in current times, I will miss his presence on earth and am so sorry he left us way too early. I love you like a brother, Russell, and will sorely miss you. You were truly an example of a wonderful human being thru all of the many years we were friends.

Our sincere sympathy to your family. Russ was a wonderfully kind man and a dedicated teacher. Oakridge Schools benefitted from his love for science and his concern for his students. It was our pleasure to know him. Several years ago, we met up with him at the high school football field dedication. It was great to see him and share some memories.

We were so sorry to hear of Russ's passing. We have always thought of him as a good Christian man and a faithful member of First church. He will be dearly missed by all.
