Brian Lee Peterman's Obituary
Brian Lee Peterman, 57 passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at his home. He was born June 10, 1967, to James, Sr. and Marjorie Ann (Puffer) Peterman in Muskegon, and was a lifelong resident. He worked at Aludyne for 23 years as a lead supervisor, enjoyed traveling with friends and family, and played the trumpet in the Muskegon Marching Band throughout his education. He spent most of his days snuggled up in his chair with his “fur babies,” and was well known for his sense of humor and home-cooked meals. On March 10, 2010, he married Susan F. LaDoux, and she survived him along with one daughter, Danielle (Jacob) Ritsema, three stepchildren, Jessica (Alex) Smith, Chris (Sara) Brimmer, Matthew Brimmer, 13 grandchildren, his father James Peterman, Sr., his brother James (Cathy) Peterman, Jr., his niece Jacquelyn (Ryan) Greaves, and nephew, James Peterman III. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie, and his brother Scott. A service to remember and celebrate Brian’s life will be held Wednesday, November 27, at 1:00 pm at Discovering Christ Church, 2330 Holton Rd., Muskegon, 49445. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Contributions in memory of Brian may be made to his family. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 737 E. Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442.
