Bruno John Chmura's Obituary
Mr. Bruno John Chmura, age 89, passed away Monday, May 29, 2006 at his home. He was born January 1, 1917 in Chicago, IL to John and Anna (Pryzblo) Chmura and lived in the Muskegon area since 1949. He married the former Ruth L. Lundeen on August 20, 1949 in Muskegon and she survives him. Prior to his retirement in 1987, he worked 25 years as a sales representative for Lakeshore Machinery and Supply. He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church and was also active with SCORE. Mr. Chmura served on the Roosevelt Park Planning Commission for many years. Along with his wife, Ruth, he is also survived by 5 children, Phillip Chmura of Muskegon, Virginia “Ginny” Spenner of Portage, Barbara (Richard) Langlois of Muskegon, Michael Chmura of Orlando, FL, Maggie Carlson of Muskegon; 10 grandchildren, Lindsey, Jackie, Jessie, Drew, Adam, Erik, Lenny, Tucker, Leah and Jacob; 1 brother, Chester Chmura of Chicago, IL; 1 sister, Josephine Bonar of Cincinnati, OH. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 3 sisters. THE MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday, June 2, 2006 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Mark F. Bauer presiding. ENTOMBMENT will follow at St. Mary’s Mausoleum. VISITATION with Mr. Chmura’s family will be 5-9 PM Thursday at
