Though I was not able to attend in person, please know that my thoughts are with everyone in the family and community. I will deeply miss Uncle John along with so many others, who's lives he had touched. I am happy to know, and try to imagine how wonderful it is to be reunited with family and friends who left us before him.
Kind regard & condolences,
Matthew Thatcher##imported-begin##Matthew Thatcher##imported-end##

Hi Deb, I was so sorry to hear about John. He was such a special man. I so enjoyed working for him. I just got back from 2 weeks in Florida, this afternoon, so was unable to make it to visitation or the funeral. My prayers are with you and your family. Love you, Grace##imported-begin##Grace Rozelle##imported-end##

I knew John during his tenure with Wyoming Public Schools and from attending church at Daybreak . Though our conversations took place many years ago, his many words of wisdom echo ever so strong still today; one of them being "keep your eyes focused on your family and not hurtful things people may say". Another, even more important "the things that are not of this world, your faith and trust in God is what is going to be what truly counts so always keep your focus there". My thoughts and prayers to the extend to the entire Thatcher family.##imported-begin##Terri Basman-Underhill##imported-end##

John always had a smile and greeting whenever you met. His faith and positive attitude were really amazing. I am so sorry for his passing, but happy that is now with his God and Grace. God bless and comfort you all.##imported-begin##Kathy Boote##imported-end##
I have fond memories my brother-in-law John. At family gatherings Jim Evenhouse and John would sit and comment on life and family issues and joke and tease and laugh, kind of like the two old men in the balcony on the Muppet Show. They cracked me up. I know I'll miss that and I'm sure Jim will too.
John was always kind to me and encouraged me in my work at Kent ISD. In fact I believe the good word he put in for me 15 years ago may have helped me get my job here. I will always be grateful for that and all his other kindness.
Still praying peace and comfort for the family and for John on his journey to our Heavenly Father.
Much love to Deb and the whole family,
Fred##imported-begin##Fred Hayward##imported-end##
