Fred Torrence's Obituary
On August 11, 1929 a Katie Lee Mcghee and Curtis Torrence welcomed a healthy baby boy whom they named Fred Torrence. His journey begins in Camden, Arkansas where he was born and raised and attended school. Fred later moved to Muskegon, Michigan. A couple years down the road he went into the armed forces where he fought in WW1, later he met a young lady name Vera whom he had a child with Anita (baybay). The world was graced with his presence for 92 years, until God called him home on December 18, 2020. He leaves to cherish his memories, his only living sibling, his sister, Eddie Mae Randle-Means; one daughter, Anita (BayBay); grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. One of his two favorites nieces, Roben (Mesha) Randle and Robrietta (Sabrina) Randle. Fred was preceded in death by his niece, Roben Randle; three sisters; Margo Torrence (Margo), Shirley Hunter and Janice Wilson; and special friend, Vera. The family wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many comforting messages, prayers, expressions of kindness and concerns. Your labors of love have sustained us during this difficult time.
