Jacque Arlen Crevier

July 12, 1932 - February 1, 2022

Jacque A. Crevier, age 89, passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022. He was born on July 12, 1932, in Muskegon, MI to Joseph Edward “Ted” and Lucille G. (Webster) Crevier. Jacque graduated from Muskegon Heights High School in 1950. On October 26, 1957, he married the love of his life Patricia Ann Paquette at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Muskegon. Jacque served during the Korean and Cold War era with the Michigan National Guard from 1950-53 and with the Army Security Agency in Chitose, Hokkaido, Japan from 1953-56. He went on to retire from Mercy Hospital and was a long-time member of IBEW LU 275. Over the years he served his community and church as a Mona Shores school board member, Norton Township Shores Fire Department, life member and past president of Old Newsies, and as an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist at Sacred Heart Church. He is survived by children, Jacque Pierre (Diane) Crevier of Stevensville, Paul Arlen Crevier of Montague, Michele Renee (Mark) Ebeling of Hesperia; grandchildren, Daniele, Rachael, Courtney, Holly, Zachary, Genevieve, Jacqueline; sisters-in-law, Anna Crevier, Susan Paquette; and daughter-in-law, Annette Crevier. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Patricia Ann; granddaughter, Nicole; sister, Maree Alyce (Sue) Bollenbacher; brother, Robert E. Crevier; mother-in-law, Genevieve Paquette; father-in-law, Joseph “Joe” Paquette; and brother-in-law, Rene Leroy Paquette. In lieu of flowers please consider masses to be said at Sacred Heart Church in Jacque’s and Patricia’s name. A MEMORIAL MASS for Jacque will take place on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (150 E. Summit Ave.) with VISITATION taking place one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements entrusted to The Lee Chapel of The Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St. Norton Shores, MI 49444. Burial will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, consider masses to be said at Sacred Heart Church in Jacque’s and Patricia’s name.
