Leann E. Seastrom Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Leann E. Seastrom, age 80, passed away Tuesday morning, May 17, 2022, at her home. She was born February 21, 1942, to Forrest and Alice (Keas) Shear of Casnovia. She lived most of her life in Muskegon. She took great pride in running an open and inviting home, providing daycare, foster parenting and hosting exchange students. She organized and cherished many family and friend gatherings through the years. As a longtime member of Central United Methodist Church, she served on many committees, headed up the Crismon tree and gardens. She had many artistic talents expressed through sewing, knitting, ceramics, porcelain doll making that live on as family treasures. On August 3, 1968, Leann married Larry Lee Seastrom, and he preceded her in death on February 19, 2017. Survivors include four children: Lisa (Lynn) Lively, Jeffrey (John Coe) Seastrom, Julie Seastrom, Susan (Joe Dodsworth) Seastrom; grandchildren: Matthew (Laura) Wilson, Keegan Obenauf, Mia and Samara Zaebst, Dominick, Natalie, and Joshua Cherry, and Vanessa Dodsworth. Central United Methodist Church will be hosting visitation for the family Saturday, May 21, 2022, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Leann’s memory may be made to Central United Methodist Church’s Music and Trustees, the Harbor Hospice Foundation, or the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
