Nancy L. Parker
October 13, 1941 - January 19, 2022
Mrs. Nancy L. Parker, 80, passed away Wednesday morning, January 19, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born October 13, 1941, in Muskegon, to Clifford P. and Doris M. (Johnson) Hellman and was a lifelong resident. She was a longtime member of Wolf Lake United Methodist Church. Nancy had a huge heart when it came to her family and animals. Her heart swelled watching others enjoy her cooking. Her family was always top priority, especially her great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed. On June 13, 1959, Nancy married Andrew Parker and he survives her along with two children: Jeff (Linda) Parker, Kellie (Robert) Cavanaugh; four grandchildren: E’lyse (Ghaige) Benson, Alex Parker, Brett (Nikki) Cavanaugh, Ali (Jeshua) Short; six great-grandchildren: Briar Benson, Boone Benson, Cade Cavanaugh, Ainsley Cavanaugh, Quinn Cavanaugh, and Louisa Short; one sister: Priscilla (William) Cross. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers: Roland, Gordon, and Harry Hellman, and one sister: Esther Zimmerman. The funeral service will be Monday, January 24, at 11:00 AM at Wolf Lake United Methodist Church, 370 Vista Terrace, Muskegon, 49442. Visitation at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 E. Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442 will be from 2-4 PM Sunday, January 23. Contributions in memory of Mrs. Parker may be made to Faithful to Felines, 2525 Hall Rd., Muskegon, MI 49442.
