Richard H. “Dick” Behm, age 85, of Grand Haven passed away suddenly Friday, October 16, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 3, 1930, in Grand Haven, to Henry and Dorothy (Klemke) Behm, and he married Corrine St Read Obituary
I worked with Dick on the D.J. Angus one season and he was going to show me how to operate the boat (I had a U.S. Coast Guard captain's license) but unfortunately my husband was ill and I had to quit. He had showed us his turtles which we enjoyed because we had some for years, too. I really enjoyed working with him - such a nice person! Betty Clark

My condolences to the Behm family. I have many great memories of the Behm family growing up across the street from them. He sure put up with a lot from us kids! I can only think he was a good man to have put up with all of us. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Dick was a great neighbor for the 22 years I knew him.
The day we moved next door to him, he came over introduced himself and told me if I ever needed anything from his garage just take it, don't ask, I knew then this was going to be a great relationship.
All my three of my children grew up knowing Dick, he would always go out of his way to talk to them, they are saddened by his passing as well.
I'll think about the times he and I shared a beer on his deck, he will be greatly missed!

Dick Behm was a wonderful companion and friend to my Mother Marge Carlson for several years, she proceeded him in death in 2007. Dick was a valuable member of our family during those years. I wish to send condolences and prayers to all of his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
