William "Bill" Paul Scarbrough

William “Bill” Paul Scarbrough, age 60, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 27, 2022. He was born January 2, 1962, to William Lee Scarbrough and S. Jean Rudy in Muskegon. Bill loved his family and friends, music, art, fun, travel, and a well-made cocktail. He received three degrees from the University of Michigan, and he treasured his time there and the friendships made. Bill’s career as a law firm administrator allowed him to live in a number of large cities and he enjoyed his urban life, but the pull of White Lake drew him home. His favorite place was on the screen porch with family and friends, cocktail in hand, laughing and listening to music. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Kate Kesteloot Scarbrough; mother, Jean Scarbrough (Bob) Miller; siblings, Leeann (Dan) Brown, Allison Scarbrough, Joe Scarbrough; brother-in-law, Tim (Stacy) Kesteloot; nieces, Lexie (Jeff) Schacht, Sydney Scarbrough, Alex (Jim) Barnes, Bailey Kesteloot; great nieces & nephew, Avery Barnes, Sydney Barnes, and Finley Schacht; parents-in-law, Terry and Lauralee Kesteloot. A MEMORIAL SERVICE for Bill will take place on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at 2:00 PM at The Lee Chapel of The Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St. Norton Shores, MI 49444, with visitation taking place one hour prior to the service.
