I loved growing up with Cheryl, and the rest of the Young family. My dad always said Cheryl had the pretties smile. He was right. She was a kind sweet person. I'm so glad we recently reconnected on facebook. Condolences to the family. I wish you peace that passes understanding.

I was saddened to see this today and I wish the whole family peace and comfort in the lifetime of memories you have. Ed, your tribute to your sister was wonderful and helped me know who she became. I have not seen Cheryl since high school, but I always respected what an intelligent and strong person she was. There were quite a few times she got in my face and told me I was wrong and in each case, she was right. When I think of Cheryl back then, she was exactly who I hope my grand-daughter will grow up to be like. Prayers and blessings to you all.

Thank You to all of the Family and Friends that came out to my Sister Cheryl's Celebration of Life at the Fruitport Eagles. Thanks Also, for your sympathies and condolences to Our entire Family. It was very much appreciated and will be remembered. Cheryl was a very Special & Outgoing Person. She was a friend to all, and never had a bad word to say about anyone. Steve Reames was the Love of her life, and they were a great couple. Their Love is truly a blueprint for Happiness & Contentment in Life. Cheryl will be missed by everyone that she touched in her life. She is singing with the Angels Choir in Heaven now, and enjoying freedom from Pain and Strife. GOD Bless you Sissy.
Cheryl was a beautiful person both inside and out. I will always remember the last visit I had with her and Steve. As I was leaving she walked me to the door as she always did, she told me that she felt so bad that she was to weak to be able to help with Steve and that she knew that her end was near. She then tried to thank me for something and that is when I stopped her and thanked her for everything that she had done...as both of our eyes leaked a bit, she gave me a big hug, as she always did. Until we meet again THANK YOU!!!
My heart is breaking for Steve, Ricky, and the rest of the family. Cheryl was such a sweet and caring person. She loved her family with all she had and loved being a wife, mother, and grandma. Cheryl will be missed by so many but knowing she's pain free and whole again makes it a little easier to except. Rest in peace my friend. With much sadness,

I had the pleasure of working with Cheryl for 7 years. What a caring, tender & fun(ny) person she was. There are many memories that make smile, she was one of a kind!
