Your love and support for your mother has been inspiring to me in these past ten weeks. You are a wonderfully loving family. Mom taught you well. I ran across this in an article by Fr. Ron Rolheiser. It brough me strength in the loss of "Our Queen of Prince of Peace." I hope it will comfort you as well.
After the death of every person, we receive their spirit in a way that was not possible before they died. This was true too of Jesus, and that is why He tells us that He must first go away
before He can send the Holy Spirit. Only after Jesus died did his followers understand fully who He was---as did some of the people who crucified Him. The spirit we receive after the death of someone clarifies the quality of her life in a way that we were never able to perceive before she died, when for ever kind of reason, we reacted to her with admiration or irritation, graciousness or frustration, love or hatred, or various combinations of all of these.
May Marianne's spirit help us all to perceive in a new light the truly awesome gift of her presence in our midst for 77 years.
M - Much loved, multitasker
A - Admired
R - Resolute in following her Lord
I - Inclusive and loving to all
A - Awesome mother and wife
N - Never deterred by obstacles
N - Noticed God's presence everywhere
E - Eternally united with her Savior and Lord Jesus Christ.
Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with you--- Thank you for so generously sharing her life with our faith family of Prince of Peac.##imported-begin##Barb Perri##imported-end##

Oh, my dear, sweet brothers and sisters in Christ..such a loss to us, but we know that she has been waiting for this moment with Christ her whole life! I'd like all of you to know that it was Marianne who was there to inspire, lead, and KEEP me on the road to the Father; she was so faithful to her friends and in prayer for all of us constantly! I can't count the amount of times we would talk, pray, or just giggle til we had to not look at each other!! I will miss her so much, and will always regret not making it home in time to see her and tell her - but somehow, I feel she KNOWS. Marianne truly was a fully devoted follower of Christ - and we were and will continue to be blessed by having her in our lives....Our prayers and love go out to you all!##imported-begin##Cathie & John Kriesel##imported-end##
