Jesse, we were friends in high school and I have fond memories of our times hanging out together. I remember your family well. I was stunned on reading of Mary's passing this week. As a classmate of hers, many memories surface including one from kindergarten. When the teacher asked her name she firmly stated, "I am Mary Jack Katt!" That firmness and confidence was her trademark throughout those years and her vocation times as well. She was a consistent leader and positive example for us. Art, my thoughts and prayers to you and your family as you move on. You were the complimentary partner enabling her to live so well and fly so far.

Mary Bolt was a wonderful teacher to our son Tim. She was truly
an inspirational person and educator. We were so lucky to have known her. She will be missed. Linda and Allen Winslow
Mrs. Bolt gave me the confidence and reassurance to play the lead vocal in our 3rd grade play. It's this reason that has forever sparked a love of singing/playing music. Although we hadn't kept in touch, I will forever appreciate her kind words of encouragement.
