I will always treasure the years I got to teach and learn next to Paul. He was an amazing teacher who really connected with kids and made such a difference in their lives…and mine! He was a mentor, a role model, an inspiration and most importantly my friend ❤️
He was my favorite uncle my dads brother and one of his best friends we got to have him with us for many holidays and birthdays the conversations and stories between him and my dad were hilarious their are so many fond memories with him to many to list that I’ll cherish in my heart forever from back in the days at my grandparents house with everyone at holidays having a ball and some pool games I love you uncle Paul ❤️
With his quick wit and great storytelling, Uncle Paul was always making the room explode with laughter. Whether it be at family holidays or just hanging out on the patio, he had a knack for connecting with people and took a true interest in what was going on in their lives. With his variety of life experiences, he found a way to relate to everyone and make them feel great walking away. He will be sorely missed!
I AM VERY PROUD TO SAY THAT BILL HART, LEN GREEN, PAUL WAY AND OF COURSE ME BILL ANDREE ALL ENLISTED TOGETHER IN THE UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS TOGETHER UNDER THE BUDDY SYSTEM ON JULY 20TH. 1960. REST IN PEACE MY SPECIAL FRIEND AND BROTHER MARINE. SEMPER FI FOREVER.
Uncle Paul always had the best story’s. From the time he spent over seas to the hell he raised as a young man at home. Holidays were always more fun when he could make it. You always knew you were going to get his genuine opinion, and I appreciated that. He will be so missed!
Paul and baby Anthony
One Thanksgiving, as the food was cleared and the dishes were being washed. Four month old baby Anthony needed some care. Great uncle Paul volunteered. He talked baby talk, sang to him and just loved on Anthony all afternoon. Anthony never slept or cried. He thoroughly enjoyed Paul. It was so endearing to see.
"Unc" was my favorite uncle. He and my dad were BEST friends. Our family shared many hobbies together. Fishing, horses, and any outdoor fun. We would go snowmobiling out in the woods. Many times stopping to make a fire and cook hotdogs. Often times bringing our sleds as well. Hoping to find a big hill to go sledding. Returning home one time, the sleigh came unhooked from the snowmobile! Krista, Tracey, myself and my brother were in it. At that time, Tracey was just a toddler and the rest of us were under the age of 10. We were all bawling and thinking they weren't going to come back for us! It felt like "hours" went by!
They didn't even notice until they got home. Keep in mind we were only 1/2 mile from home. Of course they did come back to get us. 🥰
Uncle Paul came to every holiday and family birthday celebrations. No matter where it was held. Often, times Father's Day was held on my parent's pontoon boat. My children loved him very much. They enjoyed talking with him about his life experience's and of course golf! Uncle Paul was always very interested in their sports, education and then their own children. He will be missed dearly.❤️
I am honored and privileged to have shared in many meals around the family table or a restaurant with my Fiance Rich Way's Uncle Paul. Ah, no one could tell stories or talk about food (good or bad) like Uncle Paul! Listening to his stories about his days in the Marines, memories of family, and food were always my favorite! He always spoke from the heart with truth and passion. His hugs were great and the love of his family were always felt! He was honorable, faithful, supportive, smart, and kind.
