Bernie will forever be missed. Always the life of the party, turning frowns upside down no matter what was going on. He'd come to the family reunions, most at Silver Lake, with a laugh, never a complaint and enriched my soul with stories and imagination. I knew whenever I saw him, as I was growing up, I would end up laughing with him and forgetting the woes of the world for a bit. It was a pleasure and an honor to be in his presence and to be his niece. He was a wonderful Uncle. I will truly miss his presence and rolling laughter.
Karen, Sorry to hear about Bernie. Thoughts and prayers to you and your family. Lori Branch-Johnson.
