Betty Jane was the oldest sibling of our loving family. I remember she and Nancy would take us younger three kids Bruce, John and me along with her two kids Cammy and Pam to the drive-in in a red station wagon. Later in life Betty Jane, Nancy and I would take road trips always ended with ice cream. Our family would gather annually in Bitely to build a float for their parade. One particular year John in overalls carrying a pig, girls in braids and freckles sitting on the hood of one of Tom's old cars. Bruce walking with us too but I don't remember how he was dressed nor how I was dressed either lol. We all participated and all enjoyed the decorating and the abundance of food we shared for several years. We are a very creative family. Many fond memories in Bitely. I remember when our mom taught her how to crochet and how proud she was with her afghan. After that she started canning then further adventuring out in making home made crafts. We were so proud with her stepping outside her box. Sam wasn't so sure at time lol. I will miss my big sister's phone conversations and her hugs and so much more
