Dot and George meant so much to our family; they were an extension of it. They were like grandparents that lived right next door. We would take turns bringing the newspaper to them every day and every time, Dot would give us candy as a trade. Countless nights of my parents and them sitting out drinking tea while we rode our bikes between houses. When my children were born, Dot made sure I brought them to visit right away. She had their pictures up right with the rest of her family pictures in her room. I knew at her going away party before she moved to Oklahoma would probably be the last hug and kiss I gave her. We have missed her, but I know she was happy to be around her family. She was one of the most beautiful people inside and out and so loved. My heart breaks with and for you all.
