Frederick “Uncle Fred” Charles LeMieux, age 63, of Grand Haven passed away unexpectedly at home. He was born August 2, 1951 to Dr. Alfred Charles “Bud” and Kathryn C. (Delaney) LeMieux. Fred attended both Grand Haven High school Read Obituary
Where to start, Uncle Fred was a touch stone for me a real friend, he showed me how Coast Guard City really "worked". I had just been going thru some pictures and thinking of him a few days before I heard the news. Colleen and family you are in my thoughts and prairs, I will have a candle burning always for him.
Uncle Freddie was one of the very first people I was introduced to when I moved to the Spring Lake area when I went out to Applebee's with some friends. I will never forget his wicked sense of humor and that smile of his. He was a great friend to so many and I will miss shouting out "uncle Freddie!!" When I see him out and about. Rest in peace, your kind soul will be greatly missed by all of us!

So sorry to hear of Fred's passing. He was always a lot of fun, came up with some fantastic ideas, and always had laughter and a smile for others. He will be greatly missed. There will only be one "Freddie". They broke the mold with him. Good buy my friend. Hope you get up a game of pool with Ray up there. You were loved by many.

One of the first people I met in Grand Haven was Uncle Fred when we opened Applebees back 16 or so years ago. He was funny, good natured, and always a good friend. It saddens me - a little piece of what Grand Haven is to me is gone with his passing. I wish all of his family and close friends my deepest sympathy during this time. He will not be forgotten! ????
A good guy gone too soon but at least out of pain now. Fred, enjoy your golfing in eternity and we will see you on the other side.
