Gus was a good guy with a big heart. He had the nicest smile, which he wore often, sometimes with accompanied with a little giggle and a mischievous twinkle in his eyes. I grew up with him as our neighbor, and my dad was Gus' second dad and they meant a lot to each other. He will be missed here but welcomed into Heaven where he has his Savior and Viola, the love of his life, waiting for him.

Grandpa Gus was one of the brightest lights in my life and words can’t describe how much I will miss him and his love. He was one of Jaxon’s most favorite people and he loved going to visit him. I will miss all the games of dice, ice cream trips, and days taking him to lunch and shopping.
