May you find comfort and peace in this sorrowful time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
So many memories of Pete as a fixture on the drive up the hill at Highland Park. While he may not have been a fan of green ketchup, he always had a quick smile and wave when passing by. Our thoughts are with you all, the Busse' family
To Laurie and family, Sandy and I are so sorry for your loss. We wish you comfort in your fabulous memories of Pete and family on the beach and cottage deck in Highland Park. Pete's kind eyes and quiet smile will be missed. Peace , prayers and blessings to you.
While growing up and at family functions with both Pete and Tom, I remember how they both kept us "slightly" younger cousins in stitches with their games and laughter. They were always full of fun and excitement for us. As I matured I still remember their little actions that would send us laughing and then we would be waiting for their next line of attack. Never a dull moment with the Smith brothers around! God Bless you, Pete, and may you now RIP.
Our prayers and thoughts are with you, Laurie and MaryAnn and your families. We hope to be able to join you on Wednesday, also.

May your good memories of Pete bring you comfort in the time of loss. Thoughts and prayers are with you.
Pete was an inspiration to all at Highland Park. We will miss his waves as we passed him on his deck. Bob Minnema and family.
I only met Mr J.Peter Smith once at Phil and K.C. wedding. While sitting across from him and his brother Tom I could see what a inspiration he was to his Family and will be sorely missed.
