When I moved to Saginaw in the early 1960s I was a new graduate from Bronson School of Nursing in Kalamazoo. I went to work at St Marys Hospital where June was in charge of medical records. She befriended me. I will always remember the darling hat she crocheted for our first born. It resembled a football helmet. Both of our sons had there ears warmed by June's kindness.##imported-begin##Jackie Burch##imported-end##

I AM SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT THE DEATH OF JUNE..WE PLAYED GOLF FOR MANY YEARS AT MABLE HILL GOLF COURSE AND WHAT USED TO BE THE GOLF COURSE IN FRANKENMUTH..IT WAS AT THAT TIME A 9 HOLE COURSE. I WAS ON HER BOWLING TEAM FOR 5-6 YEARS ..WE PICKED BLUEBERRIES TOGETHER AND WE WENT TO THE BAVARIAN FESTIVAL FOR ALOT OF YEARS. MYSELF, THELMA LENTNER,AND HARRIET ACHARD VISITED JUNE MANY TIMES FOR WEEK-ENDS AND HAD ALOT OF FUN.
SHE WENT ON TWO TRIPS WITH THELMA LENTNER..THE LAST ONE WAS TO ALASKA.
THELMA IS NOW IN A NURSING HOME IN SAGINAW..AND SENDS HER SYMPATHY FOR THE FAMILY.AS I DO
