Dear Sue, Ken, and Dean,
I have many loving memories of your Mom. First, she was my godmother. We shared December birthdays. When I was about eightyear old, she gave me a lovely turquoise ring which I still cherish. Turquoise is the birthstone for December.
Lydia (Auntie Lee) loved gardening and particularly raising beautiful African Violets. She had a special light over her violets to keep them blooming.
In later years, my mother and Lydia had a standing lunch date every Tuesday. They would go to downtown Chicago or one of the malls for a little window shopping and lunch. I don't think that they purchased much, but they enjoyed lunch, conversation, and just being together.
Now your parents and mine can reunite in heaven. God bless.
Love, Barb and George Dilling##imported-begin##Barbara Larson Dilling##imported-end##
