Sending heartfelt sympathies to the Bell, Smith, Ronning, and Schmeling families. Char's always-at-the-ready smile and laugh was a trademark. It seems like John and I just saw Char and Rodger in their hot little orange car at a car show. We spent so much time going back and forth between our houses on East Street that I'm sure there was a groove in the dirt. Char was older than we were but she was always very tolerant of us (At least, I think she was)..... Holding you all close in heart.

Char was as much a mother to me as a sister. We lost our parents much too early and she became my support and friend. We lost her much too soon to a very cruel disease and I miss her every minute.
