Sorry to hear about your mom. She (and your dad) was such a great support to our mom and dad after mom's stroke. And she never seemed to complain about anything when I saw her. I have some vaguer memories of picnics with the two families. The moms always took care of all the details, leaving all the fun to us kids. Amazing how we all lost touch through the years. Please add my email to your list--it would be nice to be in touch occasionally. I know that I always enjoyed reading the round robin, when I could. News of extended family still brought me pleasure.
Know that your mom was appreciated as an aunt who always took time to inquire about our activities.

I was sorry to hear of your mother's passing. We haven't been in contact for quite some time, but the news brought back some great memories of summers spent at your house in Muskegon. Aunt Marjean was a quiet, gentle lady, who was patient with a houseful of cousins. I will always remember her and your dad and the great times we had staying with you.

I had the pleasure and privilege of working with Marjean for seventeen years at Christian Care Nursing Center. She was a gracious lady, and she did fine work with never a complaint. She alway had a hopeful outlook, and never had an unkind word for anyone. I visited her earlier this year for her birthday, and we had a nice visit. I'm sad to think that there will be no more such visits, but I'm sure she rests in God's hands. I will always remember Marjean with respect and affection.
