Joan, Bob, Glen and Sherry, we are sorry to read about Bob. It's been a long time, in fact, it was 1966 when we moved to Traverse City. I think of Bryan and Sherry playing together. We have lots of memories of our years on Leonard Rd. I remember Bob making peach butter and it was so good. We live in Beulah, Michigan. .Will keep you in our prayers........Jim and Sue Sheffield

Sending my sincere condolences to Joan, Sherri, Bob and Glen. I just heard about Bob and I'm so sorry. The memories I have growing up in the Church of the Nazarene are so special. Bob always had a way of making all of us feel so special. Please know that my thoughts are with all of you during this very difficult time. I'm so sorry I missed seeing all of you. Just imagine the reunion with all of his friends in Heaven.

I thought I would share my condolences with all of you as well.. I first met Bob when I started working at Menards MANY years ago! I always wondered how he ever had time at home between Church and shopping at Menards. I asked him a couple times and all He did was LAUGH! Never did get a straight answer out of him! He kept me constantly updated on the church and everything going on and was the first person to greet me the one time I had to chance to attend there..
Prayers and blessings for the family from myself... and Menards which he single-handedly kept open I think!
Bob was the "candy man" growing up in Grand Haven. I knew I could count on getting a piece of candy from him if I walked by him enough times! He was a very friendly man and all the generations loved him. Our prayers go out to the family during this difficult time.
