She was a beautiful friend and person. She had a wacky sort of sense of humor. She and I first meet at the Muskegon Mall, when she helped me off a curb. That was always her way trying to help people. She had a smile that could light up a room or your heart in a second. But also a stern stare to let you know you may have crossed the line. I've received both from her!! She was always thankful for Bette and Jeff, for giving her a place to in their home and making her feel right at home. She was always appreciative for them allowing her to recover there as well. It didn't hurt that their three puppy dogs were always there to greet her and put a smile on her face. She can now watch over Mulka and Pumpkin for you Jeff and Bette. I was really blessed by coming into my life when she did and now while I am battling my own cancer fight. We talked for hours when we went out and by phone when I moved back to Oscoda. I will miss those conversations. But, look forward to resuming them if and when the good Lord always me to join her in heaven. So family and friends don't worry about Roberta, she already planning a special welcome dinner for us when we join her in heaven. Take care sweet lady. Have that smile ready to greet us all.
