Roberta L. Eagles' Obituary
Roberta Leah Eagles, age 67, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2023 in Newaygo, MI. Roberta was born on January 27, 1956 in Long Beach, CA. Upon the death of her mother, she was sent to Philadelphia to live and eventually adopted by family. Beginning at the age of five, Roberta showed artistic talent by sketching. Upon graduation from college, she started a career in administration, eventually writing company newsletters and responsible for four branches of the organization. Upon moving to Muskegon, Roberta became a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, where she volunteered in the office as needed. Roberta will be lovingly remembered by her sister, Bette (Jeffrey Sr) McAuliffe; niece, Lisa Thiele; nephew, Jeffrey (Lauren) McAuliffe Jr; and two great nephews, Tyler McAuliffe and Bradly Miles. A Funeral Service will be held 11:00AM Wednesday, August 2 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church Marian Chapel with Fr. Charles Hall officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 – 11:00AM.
