Sandy was the only bus driver I had until I started driving myself! 20 years later and I can still hear Elvis on the radio and recall all of her pictures! May The Lord keep all those who loved and cared for her.
I have always had respect for Bus drivers seeing how my favorite lady (my grandma, Ms.Peggy) was a bus driver but I never understood why so many people loved her so much until I got Sandy. She was definitely one of a kind and made riding her bus memorable. Hopefully she gets to meet Elvis now
My thoughts and condolences go out to her family. She was the most caring bus driver. I had her from 95-98. I remember her making a little photo of my cousin and I on a paper bus and bringing it to me after my cousin passed away in elementary school. She was an amazing person.
