Sandra K. Myers' Obituary
Sandra Kay Myers, age 79, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024, in Muskegon, MI, surrounded by her family. Sandy was born in Muskegon on April 13, 1945, to Robert and Marie (Johnson) Gee. She graduated from Muskegon Catholic Central High School and then went on to attend Baker College. On February 8, 1980, she married Larry Myers, and the two of them spent 30 wonderful years building a family together until he preceded her in death in 2010. She worked for 18 years at G & L and then spent 21 years working as a school bus driver for Reeths-Puffer Schools, retiring so that she could take care of her youngest grandson. She greatly enjoyed her time as a bus driver and cared for all the kids she drove for. She loved her Lord and was a longtime member of Calvary Memorial Church. She loved spending time outside, whether it was working in the yard, camping, riding her golf cart, or taking trips to the UP. More than anything she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Sandra will be lovingly remembered by her son, Damon (Jodi) Myers; daughter in law, Meri Phelps; five grandchildren: Devin and Coltin Myers, Justin and Jerrett (Chelsea) Phelps, and Alexander Lindblom; three great-grandchildren: Layla, Carlee, and Camden; two nephews: Chip and Donny Johnson; and many other friends and family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Marie Gee; husband, Larry Myers; son, Jerry Phelps; daughter, Rhonda Phelps; sister, Judi Burgess; half-sister, Star Salazar; and parents in-law: Lee and Adele Myers.
