It was so hard watching you fad from my life. You were the best Aunt ever. You gave me my love of nature and finding joy in simple things. I so love you and know I will see you again. Until then I will always treasure my memories with you.
How do I say goodbye to my sister (not by birth, but by heart). We met many years ago when she and I were Deaconesses at Giles Road Baptist Church. Our lives were so similar, we became steadfast friends. We met for breakfast every week and shared many stories. We shared so many laughs together. Sue was always kind to everyone she met, and truly cared about people. She volunteered for Hospice, years after she retired. She always helped out whenever she could and wherever she was needed. She was my older sis who gave me good advice. I treasured her. I will miss her. Miss our telephone calls that always ended in laughter. Miss her calls at 5 a.m. when neither of us could sleep. I will never forget her.
Aunt Suzie was wonderful to myself and my siblings. G and L hot dogs, camping at Ludington State park, canoeing, cards, all fun times and great memories. Always had a cake for our birthdays as well. Many wonderful memories to cherish, very blessed to have her as our aunt. She believed in God which is the greatest blessing for all.
I loved the many summers camping with my Aunt. Spending the weekends and watching on Sunday night before we went home the Wonderful World of Disney. She always fed us really good food. We loved playing cards and Cad. She would spend hours with my three siblings and myself.she will be missed
