Suzanne M. "Sue" Sidock's Obituary
Suzanne M. “Sue” Sidock, age 78, passed away on Wednesday evening, August 16, 2023, at the Poppen Residence. She was born on October 19,1944 to Lester and Marie (Loss) Buttermore in Muskegon. She attended Moon School and then graduated from Muskegon Catholic Central High School. She was a member of Shores Community Church and had previously attended St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She worked at Muskegon Credit Bureau until she retired. Suzanne enjoyed swimming, roller skating, attending church and listening to all the “old” songs, feeding and watching birds, growing flowers and gardening, cats, spending time with dogs and training them to do tricks (especially her beloved Coffee), saying the Lord’s Prayer, and going on bus trips with Orchard View Travelers. Sue was a generous, gentle, kind woman who made the best of what she had and always treated everyone how she wanted to be treated. She is survived by her children: Kathy, Anita, and Kris; her sisters-in law: Jackie Buttermore, Sharon Rollenhagen, and Emily McIntyre; brother-in-law, Bill (Robin) McIntyre; nieces: Michele Lea Pulley, Colleen Ratliff, Cheryl (Ken) Greiner, Leanne Shattuck, and Stephanie McIntyre; nephews: David Buttermore and Mike McIntyre; grand-nephews: Prince Aleem and Ben Krbez; and cousin, Karen Buttermore. She is also survived by lifelong friend (since 2 & 3 years old), Mary Jo Langlois and her family – Rick, Chrisie, Andrew, Hailey, Christopher, and Jodey; special friends: Howard Chapman and Christopher Chapman; friends: Melody Sukup, Bev Johnson, Evelyn Herbert, and many friends she talked with on the phone regularly that looked forward to those calls with her.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents; first spouse, Dan McIntyre; second spouse, Andrew Sidock; and her brothers: Tim Buttermore and Roy Buttermore. According to Sue’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held. She will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
