I lived next door to Denny a few years ago in Grand Haven. He was a good hearted neighbor who was always willing to lend a hand. I remember his beloved German Shepard, who was his constant companion, and who understood when Denny shouted to him in German! My condolences to the family. I will always remember him as a man of kindness.##imported-begin##Deborah Chapman##imported-end##

Dear Aunt Ann:
Ginny and I were saddened to hear the news of Denny's passing, and we're sorry for your loss. Denny was a good and kind soul - that soul is now at rest, and with a peace those of us left behind can only envy. We'll remember you, and Denny, and Uncle Jim in our prayers, and ask for courage and peace for you, during this most difficult of times. We won't be able to make his memorial service, but please know that we share your grief, and will hold you close in our thoughts. God bless. Our love to you, Aunt Ann.

Denny, from one Marine to another...Keep your eyes and ears open and your head down...Remember, old Marines never die, they simply regroup in heaven (well, it starts with an "H" anyway).
