Grandma Jessie
What a life 94 years,such a loving caring lady.Everything a Grandma,Mom,Sister friend could be and so much more.Grandma gave so much to everyone around her love-support-advice-concern to say the least.How could we not love&care for her so deeply to the end & beyond.Thank you Mom,Nancy,Big Jim & Mike grandmas wish fulfilled.Thanks to Dad&Uncle Ed for the support during this time.The memories in our hearts forever so many.......From the long plane trip to Sweden to every Xmas Eve as family.The tree decorated to perfection,the lights so beautiful and the supper so awesome.The by far favorite SWEDISH Meatballs{Who Nancy,Debbie&Allison always got first dibs}and oh yah the not so favorite Lukefisk Except Big Jim Little Jim & Erics:).Thanks to Lori for keeping the kitchen organized we could never open presents & have pie until dishes were done.Xmas Cookies,gingerbread houses&ST Lucia of which my daughter Kaelyn loved.The Swedish cofffee bread which I don't think we will ever perfect like Grandma but we will keep trying.Thanks David, to be able to visit Sweden & share the memories of the "OLD COUNTRY" with Grandma she was so proud of you,I could see it in her eyes.The easter egg hunts & working in Grandmas garden was Jacob & Jordans favorite the boys enjoyed working in the yard.Gram was the best Sunday school teacher ever, she would insist on goig to A&W rootbeer for a Chile Dog Fries& rootbeer float after Church.Everytime I make a Rootbeer Float I can Smell the chile dogs. Grandma could never pass up a road trip to the casino I think she won the most & never told anyone =D She has to have the most Lottery Tickets,crossword puzzles star&people magazines of anyone.Grandma never missed a event birthday party's Soccer Volleyball basketball games.She always would ask what her "Kids" were up to today.Even as her memory was failing she would remember what was going on with her "Kids". Whoops, Jim....I meant to say U.S. 31 South...in my first note...Now....you must remember what a terrible sense of direction I had/have...Nancy and I must have been tied for the 'worst' in that area....and, as I recall....you were #1 and your sisters, Nancy and Bev, weren't far behind you....Safe travel back to Texas.##imported-begin##Buppy##imported-end##

I remember Jessie as such a caring, giving person...and one who loved doing nice things for others...She gave so much....with no expectations.I also recall that she had a phenomenal sense of direction...One time when my sisters were home for a visit...we decided to take Jessie up to the Little River Casino (She did love casinos)in Manistee...We had lots of laughs driving up there, while we were there and on the way back...but, on the way home, the bridge in Manistee was opened and traffic was backed up for quite a ways...Jessie then said that we didn't have to wait and directed us out of town on back roads, in the pitch dark, and just as we began to wonder if we were going to be lost, we came to a stop sign at U.S 10...and a sign pointing us toward U.S. 31N....We all breathed a sigh of relief...and she just giggled...She knew where she was all the time....I'll put $10 in for you next time I go up there, Jessie.##imported-begin##Buppy##imported-end##

Memories are the legacy of love. I remember grandma Jesse, to me as a kind thoughtful most gracious woman. Kind of like my grandma's. Their were three of them for me. I was blessed. She was special to all of us in our own heart. My condolences go out to you all, Big Jim and little Jim as I call them. To the whole family you know who you are. She was a wonderful and giving woman to you all. You were all special to her. Taylor and Monica you are special to her just like all the children, grandchildren and great-great grand-children she had.
